GUIDE FOR PROMOTION -- Fall

TO ENTER THE OFFICIAL CLASS INDICATED FOR THE FALL TERM,

YOU MUST HAVE EARNED THE CREDITS LISTED BELOW.

                                     To enter:                                You must have:

 

a Sophomore (2) official class...... 8 credits & 1 year in H. S.

 

a Junior (3) official class............ 20 credits & 2 years in H. S.,

                                                  & at least 4 terms of English& Social Studies

                                                  at least 4 terms of Physical Education

                                                      at least 3 terms of Science and Math

                                                      Satisfied a Science Regents/RCT

 

a Senior (4) official class............. 30 credits & 3 years in H. S.,

                                                      at least 6 terms of English& Global Studies

                                                  at least 4 terms of, Math & Science,

                                                  5 terms of Physical Education,

                                                  2 terms of a Foreign Language

                                                  Satisfied the Math, Science & Global Studies Regents/RCTs.

A graduating program, or be in Extended Day / Credit Recovery and/or Saturday School.

 

NOTE:  In order to participate in Senior activities, a student must be in

a 4 homeroom by September and must be carrying a program which enables

him/her to graduate in June with his/her cohort.
